This policy explains what personal data Real Signals collects, why, how it is stored, and your rights under UK GDPR. We collect the minimum necessary and do not sell, share, or use your data for marketing without your consent.

2. What data we collect

This website is an informational site. It does not operate a booking system, a payment system, or user accounts. The personal data we may receive is limited to:

Email enquiries — your name, email address, and the content of your message when you contact us.
Session intake information — if you become a client, you will complete an intake questionnaire covering lifestyle, energy, sleep, and related factors. This is processed to deliver the consultancy service.

We do not use contact forms, analytics tracking, or cookies on this website at present. If this changes, this policy will be updated.

3. Why we collect it and our lawful basis

Email enquiries — to respond to your message. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
Client intake and session data — to deliver the consultancy service. Lawful basis: explicit consent obtained before any work begins.

4. How long we keep your data

Email enquiries that do not lead to a client relationship — deleted within 12 months of last contact.
Client records — retained for a minimum of 8 years following the end of the client relationship, in line with health records guidance.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be shared with:

Google Workspace — our email is hosted by Google. Emails sent to hello@realsignals.co.uk are processed on Google’s servers under their terms of service and data processing agreement.
Legal or regulatory bodies — where we are required to disclose information by law.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations)
Withdraw consent at any time where consent is the lawful basis
Object to processing based on legitimate interests
Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk
